Travel Tip #3

BYOE

Bring your own everything. It’s safer than putting yourself at the airline’s mercy. Bring a travel pillow, a blanket or sweater if you tend to get cold, entertainment (PSP, iPod), headphones (preferably noise-canceling ones, which not only combat engine noise — brutal in the rear of the plane — but make it so that you can hear the plane’s entertainment system). And, of course, food: while on-board prices aren’t extortionate (a charge airports are far more guilty of), the quality is iffy and the selection meager.

Pisa, Italy

This is the actual Leaning Tower of Pisa!! When we got there, I was expecting like a huge patch of grass with just the tower in the center with people sitting on the grass around it taking pictures… But no, there were buildings, restaurants, and stores surrounding this tower. Other than that, the experience was really great. I mean, we actually saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa!

Rome, Italy

Rome was one of our favorite places we went to. This city was so lively at night and there was so much to do, almost to the point where you were never bored. Our hotel was right in the center of Old Rome. The location of this hotel (It was called Residenza Repetta) was perfect. You could walk anywhere! We walked to the pantheon, the colosseum, and the roman forum!

Travel Tip #2

Say Yes Often
Be impulsive and say yes when someone randomly invites you to meet their family, try a new activity, or explore a place you didn’t know existed. It’s these unexpected and unplanned situations that add spice to your travels and always turn into the best stories later.

Accept the kindness of strangers when you travel — you’ll have plenty of opportunities to do so.

Travel Tip #1

Take Lots Of Photos
You may only see these places & meet these people once in your lifetime. Remember them forever with plenty of photos. Don’t worry about looking like a “tourist”. Are you traveling to look cool? No one cares. Great photos are the ultimate souvenir.

They don’t cost anything, they’re easy to share with others, and they don’t take up space in your luggage. Just remember once you have your shot to get out from behind the lens and enjoy the view.

Monte Carlo

DSC03491

This is a picture taken of the beautiful landscapes of Monte Carlo! It definitely was the amazing place everybody told us it was going to be.You could tell that Monte Carlo was a very expensive city! The huge beach houses and the fact that everybody was driving either a Ferrari or a Bugatti, really showed us how wealthy this community was! While we were here, we got to eat at Cafe Paris and we also saw the Grand Casino!

Ajaccio, Corsica

Ajaccio was postcard beautiful! Right when we had gotten off of our cruise ship, we had noticed the natural beauty of this place. This photo shows the bay of Ajaccio. The contrast of the orange buildings to the dark blue ocean really brings out the true beauty to Ajaccio.

Monaco, France

This is a famous church in Monaco, France.  You might be asking yourself, “What is so  special about this church?” Well, this church  is where the famous actress, Grace Kelly  and Prince Rainier (The prince of Monaco)  got married! Not only was this the church  that they got married in, this is the church  where Grace Kelly’s grave is at.

I recently visited Italy,France, and Spain.  These next few posts are going to be about  the memories we made in Europe!
